Todd Smith Bio

Todd Smith, a HealthSaver spokesperson, is director of corporate communications for Affinion Group, a leading global affinity marketer, and its related companies. Smith, an experienced public relations executive and former journalist, joined Affinion in 2002. Prior to that, Smith served in a variety of roles with Gaylord Entertainment Company, including spokesperson for the former Opryland Theme Park, Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, the General Jackson Showboat, the Springhouse Golf Club, the Ryman Auditorium and Grand Ole Opry Tours. He also served as public affairs manager for HCA and account executive with Atkinson Public Relations in Nashville. Smith is a former staff writer for The Washington Times in Washington, D.C., where he was a business reporter, police reporter, general assignments reporter, country music critic and features writer. Smith has more than 20 years of communications experience.
